Students at The Boswells School in Chelmsford are celebrating their A Level results, with members of the Class of 2026 securing places at universities across the UK and progressing to competitive degree apprenticeships.
Destinations for this year’s cohort include Durham, Southampton, Manchester, Cardiff, Exeter, Greenwich, Essex and Anglia Ruskin universities, following results across subjects ranging from mathematics and sciences to law, politics and performing arts.
Among those celebrating is Ethan, who achieved A* grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics alongside an A in Computing. He will study Aeronautics and Spacecraft Engineering at the University of Southampton.
Juliet achieved an A* in Psychology and As in Biology and Mathematics and will study Biological Sciences at Durham University.
Robbie received As in Law, Politics and Psychology and will progress to the University of Manchester to study Politics and Social Anthropology, while Maja achieved a Distinction* in Performing Arts and As in Dance and Media Studies. She will study Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at the University of Greenwich.
Vincent achieved As in History, Mathematics and Politics and will study Mathematics at Cardiff University.
Isobella received As in History, Philosophy & Ethics and Sociology and will study Politics and International Relations at the University of Essex.
Kit achieved an A* in Law, an A in History and a B in Mathematics and will progress to the University of Exeter to study Law.
Michael achieved As in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry and will study Optometry at Anglia Ruskin University.

These exceptional A level results reflect not only their hard work and commitment, but also the support of their families and the expertise of our staff. Beyond the results, we are particularly impressed with how they have supported one another and developed the confidence, maturity and ambition needed for the next stage of their journey. We look forward to hearing about the incredible things they will accomplish in the years ahead.”
The school said this year’s cohort had also taken part in sporting, performing arts, academic and enrichment activities alongside their studies.

Alongside their academic success, they have embraced the full range of opportunities available through our Sixth Form’s Super Curricular programme. From becoming national champions in sports and performing arts to excelling in academic competitions and enrichment activities, they have developed valuable skills that will support them throughout their future endeavours. While we are sad to see them leave, we know they are leaving us well prepared to thrive in their chosen fields.”
